Whether you have attended one of our overnight trips or not, you won’t want to miss our perennial favorite excursion to Boothbay Harbor, Maine!  This part of Maine has exactly the right balance between unspoiled coast and commercial activity.  You’ll be captivated by the independent spirit and friendliness of the people, as well as by the area’s many contrasts.  There are quaint village streets and shops, band concerts and craft fairs on the library lawn, bustling harbors flowing with lobster boats, fishing trawlers, windjammers, and pleasure craft.  Explore quiet coves, rocky shores, meandering roads, lighthouses, islands, and a waterfront park in the shape of a whale.

Again this year, we offer a four-day excursion including deluxe transportation via motor coach from Lizak Bus Company in Warren to Boothbay Harbor, a visit to the charming village of Wiscasset for lunch and shopping, three nights at the comfortable Boothbay Harbor Inn, Cap’n Fish Harbor Cruise, breakfast on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and a visit to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for dinner on your own on Wednesday. Thursday offers free time for checking out the shops and many fantastic restaurants in this busy town.  You might also consider a trip out to Monhegan Island during your free time.  On Friday’s return trip, we will stop at Freeport with free time for lunch and shopping at the world-famous L.L. Bean store and over 200 exciting outlets.

Prices include round trip transportation via motor coach, accommodation for three nights, room taxes, baggage fees, three breakfasts, Maine Botanical Gardens, and dinner on Tuesday night.  Incidentals will be charged to each person upon check out.  Charges might include room service, laundry/valet, telephone, and in-room films.
