Just imagine 400,000 Christmas lights shining over the course of 10 acres, biblical displays, the Christmas Alphabet, and the Outdoor Crèche of Bethlehem featuring Clopper the Christmas Donkey! The Christmas Festival of Lights at the National Shrine of Our Lady of LaSalette is one of New England’s most memorable holiday events. With lots to see and do, our visit will give you time to attend Mass; take in a concert sung by Fr. Pat; check out the gift shop and café; and visit the International Crèche Museum with hundreds of crèches from around the world. The LaSalette Fathers re-affirm that Christmas is a time to reflect on the birth of Jesus. Jesus is the reason for all these lights and a reason for celebrating this theme: Make it Known!
Join us for a delightful afternoon buffet dinner at the La Salette café before the festival. Our menu includes dinner rolls, tossed salad with house dressing, choice of pasta with meat sauce, French Canadian meat pie, or turkey; coffee, tea, soft drinks, and dessert. There is no vegetarian option at this restaurant. Afterward, we’ll attend the opening ceremony for the Christmas Festival of Lights; expected time of arrival at the café is 3:45 pm; you’ll have three hours to explore the festival. We’ll return to Warren shortly after 9:15 pm. Your trip includes deluxe motor coach transportation, dinner at La Salette café, and the Festival of Lights.
